Jessi sighed as she walked down the sidewalk, thinking. She wanted to get away from her home for a while, considering Shane, Jason, and Chase were there, and they were as annoying as hell. Where do they get off, thinking of her as 'one of the guys'? Even if it had been that way for a while..they had the maturity of a lawn rake, that's all she knew. Arms crossed as she walked, the green leaves popping out everywhere and the flowers coming into bloom. It was so beautiful, and all of this reminded her of her dead family. Her grandpa, grandma, uncles and great aunt.
But, all death aside. You shouldn't question it, for it will happen to you to, and then you'll be within it's judgment. The wind blew, caressing everything within it's path wit ha warm blast of air, bringing with it the sweet scent of the flowers surrounding the park. "Ah...gotta love it here sometimes.." Jessi knew it wasn't healthy to talk to yourself, but she was just making a statement, not really /talking/ to herself...eh, who cared if someone thought she was crazy, she sure as hell didn't. Her mind began to wander as she slowly made her way down the beaten path, thinking about her friend, Mick. He was interesting, a lot more interesting than the few people she even /liked/. But, this was different. He was /her/ bestest best friend, and no one else's. He was like her brother that she actually wanted to have, but it wouldn't happen. It's not like her parents would adopt another boy. Alright, that's mean, isn't it? But, Jessi always felt her brothers were adopted.

They call him trouble But they don't know him.
Mickail walked to the park, like he did any other day. He didn't have a reason to go there he just went. Mick didn't need reasons to do anything. When he did something it just was done there were no thoughts after. But of course there were many thoughts before. He didn't need reasons to do stuff but he thought things through.
Mick continued to walk to it. He passed people, he smiled to familar faces and waved to a few special people. He then arrived to the entrance of the park. It wasn't a grand park but it was nice. It was near his appartment and it was a place to sit and relax and sometimes reflect. As he walked along he stared at his feet. He admired his tattered up 'chucks', anarchy signs had been drawn on the toe part of the shoe. He loved his shoes. He had gotten them a thrift store. His mom didn't have money to buy him new ones. For his birthday he would probably get a pair.
Mick let his gaze gradually higher until it was parellel with the ground. He then scanned his surroundings looking for someone. Not only someone but his best buddy Jessi. He hoped that he might run into her here. After all they met here. He then spotted her in the distance. He ran towards here failing to notice the curb coming up and... Ouch. He tripped on his face. He got a small cut on his cheek but other than that he only had hurt his pride. He then carefully continued to jog to her. When he arrived at her side he smiled and said, "Hello, Jessi, my amiga."

Jessi turned as soon as she heard the thud on the ground and bit her lip when she saw Mick on the ground, but when he stood, she sighed. Smiling, she spoke to him. "Hey. What cha doin' buddy?" Her Southern accent flew out of her mouth fairly easily, and that's really the only reason people can pick at to make fun of her with. What was with people and picking at each other?! That was childish, and seriously unnecessary. She sighed as her arms stayed crossed as she looked at Mick, wondering why he had fallen like that, but she dismissed it. A little trip, that's all.
She looked down to her feet and studied her feet for a moment. She was wearing the same pair of Nike's she had worn for the past year, and surprisingly, they weren't anywhere near ripping. She had been careful, apparently, keeping out of glass and such when she worked. She really hadn't put much abuse on them, considering all she had to do. Her green eyes moved back on Mick as she leaned back and forth, keeping balance. She smirked as she tried to think of something to talk about. "You know what? Chase and them said that they would be playing football later today. For some /odd/ reason, they invited me too." She snorted lightly when she sarcastically said 'for some odd reason'. She knew why they did invite her; they need a challenge. Sure, she may be a girl, but girl's /can/ in fact play football.

Those words at best were worse than teenage poetry Fragment ideas and too many pronouns Stop it, come on You’re not making sense now You can't make them want you They're all just laughing
Mickail's face was covered by a big smile. He was very happy that he had ran into his friend, or rather best friend, Jessi. He listened to with interest, anything that came out of her mouth was most definitely worth hearing. "What am I doing? Well I just came down here to see my best buddy. That's all. How about you," he said grinning. He placed his hands in his pockets as he stood there.
He then thought about earlier. His mom had been in a mood today. Sure she was granted to be in a bad mood occasionally but it just seemed she was always mad. She never laid a hand on Mick but he jusn't like to be around people when they were mad. He didn't like the vibe they gave off. His mom was short and he didn't like it when she went off on him. So he decided to leave the house and come to the park and get away for a bit.
"Oh, so you're going to go aren't you. We both know you'd beat them anyday." He said confidently. He knew his friend, she was strong, maybe stronger than him. They both endured lots of things. However, Jessi knew nothing of his past. He tried not to talk about it. Bringing it up sent shudders down his spine.

"Eh, walkin', thinkin' 'bout the singing competition Chase forced us into. The judges were awesome, though. We had to stay for a little speech by Dr. Brown, but other than that it was alright. I hear that they gave us a rating by accident when we only asked for comment..." Sighing, Jessi was dying to know what the hypocrites said about their singing. She knew they would go easy on everyone, only because some of them weren't full developed singers, so they couldn't be judged by that. Shaking her head, she started to slowly walk, looking at Mick.
"Of course! I never miss a chance to bring my brothers down to size..And in front of their friends, oh how sweet this will be. They have the /worst/ ball handling skills I have ever seen..." Jessi shook her head, smirking. She had broad shoulders, though that was no fault of her own. Being born that way, in fact. Her father was broad shouldered, and she got it from him, as well as her green eyes. "You want to come? You don't have to play, you can watch..." She didn't want to leave her friend out of it after she told him about it. The flower petals were falling off a bit, and with the warm wind softly blowing towards Jessi and Mick, she had to close her eyes a bit, to keep them from flying into her eyes. This was the bad part of Spring. The Spring made her think about last year, when the kittens were born. Ah, her babies....Cougar just /had/ to have her kittens the only night Jessi brought her in, but where she had them is what really made her think; Cougar plopped out five kittens next to Jessi, in her bed while she slept and at around...oh, four in the morning, Jessi woke to screams and saw Puma. Shaking her head, she continued to walk, motioning for Mick to come along.

...I've Cried Tears Before.... Blah. Band post. XD
... I Know What It's Like...
Foot steps. The only thing one could hear coming from the young man. He hadn't been out much in the past week or so, and so finally ventured out into the world. Ryan hadn't done much for being out. He went to a few stores, a food place, and now, to the park. He wanted friends; though, things weren't looking his way. Looking up through his mask of black hair, Ryan sighed as he saw an open bench not to far off.
Ryan was different; no doubt on that. He didn't look like most people, and therefore, he scared some of them. Perhaps it was the way his hair was. It laid silently in his face, black, and moved only slightly in the wind. The back of his head had short hair, in which he cut down purposely. Or maybe, it could've been his rigid blue eyes that hid behind his hair. Then again, who got to see his eyes. Finally he came onto the conclusion that it was just him; not anything specifically about him.
Silently making his way to the bench, Ryan noticed a girl, and a guy. They were walking together. The guy seemed to have a resemblence to himself, but he could point on the differences in a second. The girl seemed to be like most girls; perhaps more atheletic than others. He didn't say anything to the to of them. All he did do was take a look there way, smile, before leaning back in the bench.
... To Be Left All Alone...

Stopping, Jessi felt like she was being watch, and sure enough there was someone looking their way. Brow raised as she looked at him, seeing some similarities between him and Mick. Smirking lightly, she looked at Mick, then decided not to be too mean. She walked towards him, but soon stopped as a football flew down towards her. It was a reflex to catch it; obviously she wouldn't allow it to hit her. She looked at the little freaks who were playing and sighed, tossing it back to Jeff, an annoying little freckle faced boy. "You call that a pass? I'd certainly call that an insult to football." He smirked as he decided to just have a little fun and bother his little 'friend' for a moment. "Are you for real?" Jessi just sighed as she looked at him. If only she were nicer than she used to be. If she were twelve, he would've been in a choke-hold by now. "It's called practice, hun.." Jeff just continued to follow until Jessi stopped, then, so did he. "Are you sure you're for real?" She looked at Jeff as she said this, staring him straight in the eye with no emotion on her face.
"Girl, you've got a mouth on you...let's see how long that will last." Soon, he went back to his little game. "God little smurff..." Sighing, she looked to the sky as she started to walk again, towards the boy on the bench. "Hey. Name Jessi, and you are...?" She smiled slightly, wondering if he would be polite or not. She didn't judge by appearance, but attitude.

Mickail noticed they were being watched also, but he didn't mind. He then noticed a smirk on Jessi's face. What the devil was she thinking in that noggin of her's? He hoped his mouth to ask but bit his tongue and said nothing. It wasn't important, she was probably going to make a rude comment or something. He then watched a football head Jessi's way and then he noticed Jeff. To be quite frank, Mick then and there decided he didn't like this guy. "Take a hint buddy, and go away." He said towards him, he wasn't going to let no loser walk all over him nor his friend.
He smiled as Jeff then walked off. He then noticed the boy before him. He was like Mick, well his sense of style. They weren't identical but they were similar. Mickail heard Jessi introduce her self so he decided he should too. "Hello sir. I'm Mick and it's a pleasure to meet you." He said trying to be friendly. He wouldn't mind acquiring another friend,he thought. This however depended on him.

Blah. No muse. Hope it's good.
[Please forgive me]
The two of them walked his way, signaling for him to look up. Ryan had only looked at them for a split second, yet, they still noticed him looking. With a small sigh, he watched as the girl approached him first. She was about his age, dark hair, not much to say but that's she a pretty girl. As she came closer, another boy through I ball at her; as if purposely trying to hit her. Luckily, she caught it. Smiling he stood up just as she began introducing herself. Her name was Jessi. She had a rich Southern accent that reminded Ryan much of his great Aunt that lived down in Tennessee.
Next, the boy that looked similar to Ryan, approached. He was tall; taller than Ryan, at least. In the very least, he had about the same style as Ryan, other than there own bit that either of them put in there. The guy introduced himself as Mick, and then it was Ryan's turn. He looked down at his checkered black and white Vans before looking up again. "I..." he choked. It figured. The one time he actually needed a voice, he didn't have it. Sighing, he shook his head before speaking up again. "I'm Ryan. Nice to meet you two," he said, a small smile on his face. He wasn't one to smile; not because he didn't like to. He just thought that smiling only invoked relationships upon people, and so, rarely did it.

Jessi heard Mick telling Jeff to take a hint and screw off. Finally! Someone of their own gender had a brain! Well, she knew Mick had a brain, Jeff and the rest of the jocks were in a breed of their own. Shaking her head, she smiled lightly yet warmly as she looked at Ryan as he introduced himself. "Nice ta meet ya, boyo." Yes, she just said 'Boyo'. Sometimes, she let a little Irish talk float in, as she knew where she was from, and was damn proud of it. Irish, Scottish, British, and Native American. Half Native American, then a mixture of the other three. You could sort of tell about the Native American heritage, considering that she had these dark spots covering her arms. Some thought it was a skin condition. Ha!
Shaking her head, she looked at Mick and sighed, as she looked between the two. Ryan to Mick, Mick to Ryan. Yeah, she sorta didn't have anything to talk about, so this is what she did. But, she had alot to think about. Like, where did the guys around here get off? She knew she wasn't good looking, she didn't need anyone to lie to her like that. Yeah, she had a bit of a self-esteem issue, but it wasn't anything to worry about. She just hated big-headed people who thought they were all that and a bag of chips. Shaking her head, releasing her from her thoughts, she looked at Ryan, and just decided to ask questions. "So, where ya from? I hope ya don't mind me askin', 'cause I'm just a bit curious..." One thing she hated was getting yelled at. She got that enough when she was little, leaving an emotional scar. So, she might as well see if asking questions was alright, before anything major happened. On the outside, Jessi looked like a rough and tumble kinda girl, and she was. But, on the inside, there was a bit of a softer side. Hell, everyone has one, right? "Um, ya play any sport? Like, huntin', soccer, basketball, football...?" Yeah, she was bit of a jock, but only for the hell of it. She had nothing better to do but be herself, so that meant hangin' out at the mall was out of the question.

Mickail had once been without friends. Those years were the ones he tried to to remember. But eventually he made friends, lost a few, but then met his best friend Jessi. He loved her, not necessarily like a girlfriend, but just an unconditional brotherly love. He yawned a bit as he stood there next to Jessi. He hadn't got much sleep the night before. He had stayed up watching cartoons. The classics, such as Invader Zim, Angry Beavers, and Rocko's Modern Life were on and it was marathon. Mick was a sucker for them. And now he was paying for it.
She listened to Jessi, had she really called him 'boyo'? He looked at her with a 'WTF' expression. He then turned to look at Ryan and smiled as he introduced himself. He nodded his head acknowledging before looking at Jessi and listening to her. He decided not to ask any questions, it seemed Jessi was interrogating him enuff' as it was. Mickail frowned as he thought about it. 'It' was a song. A song that had been playing over and over in his head, it it was only a small part of it too. He had forgotten the rest and it was quite annoying.
